A female in Hartford, Connecticut is charged with swiping side of a state trooper’s car. Authorities say that’s Latifah Roldan, 31, driving the defendant car.
As seen to the dash camera footage, the trooper’s vehicle has been on a largely vacant half of the highway. Another car went down the other direction on exactly the exact identical lane. The defendant car changed lanes. The trooper’s vehicle edged onto it as it was passed. The speeding car hauled beyond the trooper.
From the rear view angle, the defendant vehicle swerved around after the collisioncame to a halt.
Authorities said that they spotted the suspect vehicle, a Toyota sedan, near exit 33 from town of Hartford. They said the driver, Roldan, struck a Connecticut State Trooper cruiser run by means of a trooper identified as Connolly, who had been taken to a hospital for clinical investigation and released. The law enforcement official’s vehicle had a K9 recognized as Igor, who was not injured.
As for Roldan, she allegedly failed the field sobriety tests, and has been detained for a count all functioning of a moving car under the influence or alcohol or drugs, driving down the wrong way of a divided highway, and reckless endangerment in the second degree. The suspect is scheduled for a court hearing to take place June 30 at an Hartford court. It is uncertain if she has an attorney in this issue.
