A girl in Hartford, Connecticut is charged with swiping side of a state trooper’s vehicle.
As seen in the dash camera footage, then the trooper’s car was on a largely empty half of this street. Unexpectedly, another car could be observed traveling in the wrong direction in exactly the same lane. The suspect car changed lanes. The trooper’s vehicle edged towards it since the oncoming car approached. The speeding auto then swiped beyond the trooper. The crash occurs around the 1:20-indicate from the movie above.
In the back view angle, the suspect vehicle swerved around after the crash and came to a stop.
According to the arrest report obtained by Law&Crime, troopers said that they got 911 calls on a wrong-way driver moving southbound in the northbound lanes of I-91 from town of Windsor by departure 36 first Sunday morning. Authorities said that they spotted the suspect car, a Toyota sedan, nearby exit 33 from town of Hartford. They said the driver, Roldan, struck a Connecticut State Trooper cruiser operated by means of a trooper named as Connolly, that was taken to a hospital for medical investigation and published. The law enforcement official’s vehicle had a K-9 identified as Igor, that wasn’t injured.
As for Roldan, she allegedly failed the field sobriety tests. She was arrested for a count each of functioning of a moving car under the influence or alcohol or drugs, driving the wrong way of a divided street, and reckless endangerment in the second level. She was shortly released on a $5,000 surety bond in 10-percent money. The defendant is scheduled to get a court hearing to take place June 30 in an Hartford court. It’s unclear if she’s an attorney in this matter.
